๐ About the CROSSCOMP Initiative
CROSSCOMP is a cross-border collaboration project between:
- Technical University of Moldova (TUM)
- Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iaศi (TUIASI)
- State Agrarian University of Moldova (UASM)
The project aims to improve academic education and infrastructure in the automotive engineering sector, aligning regional curricula with modern industry requirements.

As a participant, I attended a dedicated webinar series held in April 2021, focusing on modern trends in automotive engineering, including:
- Hybrid and electric vehicle systems
- Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS)
- Embedded electronics and diagnostics
- Curriculum innovation and modern teaching methods
- Industryโacademia collaboration case studies
The webinars were part of a broader training initiative that included lab upgrades, course improvements, summer schools, and master program planning under the name Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (HEV).
