๐ Project Overview
Title: Controlul inteligent al temperaturii de la distanศฤ elaborat pentru tratamentul termic al foliilor de zinc ศi cupru
Authors: Cฤtฤlin Creciunel, Gheorghe Creciunel, Vladimir Ciobanu, Eduard Monaico
Institution: National Center for Materials Study and Testing, Technical University of Moldova
๐ ๏ธ Technical Summary
The awarded project proposes a complete embedded solution for thermal control and monitoring of zinc and copper foils in nanostructure fabrication. Features include:
- ESP32-based architecture with galvanic isolation (optotriac + BT138)
- FreeRTOS for multitasking and timing accuracy
- Real-time temperature monitoring with PID regulation
- Cross-platform interface (Windows/Web/Android)
- Visual data tracking: temperature graph, process timing, user-defined setpoints
This system addresses the need for precise, remotely managed thermal treatment, crucial in nanomaterials research (e.g., ZnO synthesis).
๐งช Institutional Contribution
The project was presented as part of UTMโs participation at ICE-USV, alongside three other high-level scientific contributions:
- GaN and GaโOโ ultra-porous shielding materials
- Magnetic nanostructures fabrication
- Perforated Au nanomembranes via electrochemical methods
Presented by researchers of the National Center for Materials Study and Testing, UTM, Moldova.
