🏛️ Location: Tekwill, Chișinău
📚 Organizer: Technical University of Moldova (FCIM)

🥈 Main Award – 2nd Place: DevHealth Patient Monitor

Developed in collaboration with Daniel Țîrche, under the guidance of Prof. Adrian Bîrnaz, the DevHealth system is a low-cost patient monitoring device.

Technical Stack:

  • Microcontrollers: Dual-chip architecture with STM32F411CE (processing) and ESP32 (connectivity).
  • Sensors: Integrated ECG, SpO2, IR, and environmental gas sensors (MQ3, MQ7, MQ135).
  • Interface: TFT screen with encoder navigation and a remote web-based medical dashboard.
  • Communication: Optimized UART protocol for inter-chip data exchange.

“DevHealth demonstrates how interdisciplinary engineering can create accessible medical solutions.”

🥇 Multiple Special Prizes

Our projects received significant recognition from industry leaders:

  • 🏅 Special Prize – AROBS Software SRL Awarded to DevHealth for innovation in embedded medical monitoring.
  • 🏅 Special Prize – Societatea Absolvenților în Microelectronică UTM Awarded for the interdisciplinary design of the monitoring system.
  • 🏅 2nd Special Prize – Mechatronics Innovation Center SRL Awarded to the Temperature Control Device (ESP32 + FreeRTOS).
  • 🏅 Special Prize – MobileSoft Solutions SRL Recognizing the utility of the Temperature Control Device in industrial foil processing.

🛠️ About the Temperature Control Device

Developed with Gheorghe Creciunel and coordinated by Dr. Eduard Monaico, this system was designed for precise thermal regulation of metal foils (Zn and Cu).

Key Features:

  • Safety: 220V galvanic isolation with BT138 triac control.
  • Software: Built on FreeRTOS for deterministic PID loop execution.
  • Connectivity: Native support for Windows, Android, and Web interfaces.
  • Control: Real-time PID stabilization with live status graphing.
